This state-of-the-art redaction software automates the redaction process to a level simply not possible before now no matter what type of documents you work with. In the case of pdf documents, redactX provides advanced capabilities that let user define full or partial match criteria, as well as the redaction of concepts such as “dates”, “names”, “titles”, “organizations”, “locations” and many others. The software can keep track of and suggest exemption criteria (for example FOIA criteria), generate summary reports of what was redacted and why, and many other features that enhance productivity and simplify workflows. In the case of images and videos, with just a few clicks of the mouse users can redact. Faces, text strings on the image/video frame, objects such as license plates, cars, trucks, people, and many others. Users can create simple and complex redaction criteria, save and re-use criteria templates, etc. The software’s detection and tracking capability are state-of-the-art. Faces can be detected at any angle, including profiles, rotations, the back and top of heads, etc. Faces wearing masks are also automatically detected. Users can also choose to redact only specific faces, as well the inverse (redact all faces except for these). Text strings that are burned on the image can be detected in over 90 different languages. A built in library of recognized objects lets users redact by selecting an object name. The software puts the user in control. For example one can choose to redact all faces and all text strings, or only specific user selected faces and words. The software can also process audio (whether in a video file or a stand-alone recording). User can specify which spoken words or entities they wish to redact and the software does the rest. Transcripts of what was said in a video/audio file can also be generated, downloaded, or searched with just a couple of clicks of the mouse. Users can set up periodic tasks that run automatically in the background according to their schedule preferences. The software then keeps track of new file additions and automatically starts a redaction task according to user specifications for that task.
You can deploy the software on-premises and retain full control over the complete process. You can also run an Amazon Machine Instance of redactX on AWS and pay-as-you-go based on usage. You still retain complete control of the process as the AMI is launched under your AWS account and you control who has access to it and the data you choose to run through it.

How to get started
redactX is available in three deployment modes to best meet your organization’s needs: On-Prem deployment (install on your hardware and pay a yearly subscription license), Cloud deployment (run on AWS on a pay-as-you-go hourly usage basis), or on a self-serve basis through the redactX website (pay individually for each file redacted). The same level of functionality is available in all deployment modes. From the options below, you can get started by choosing the one that best fits your situation.
